Here is my first Valentine’s Day look I put together this year ♡.
I love when Valentine’s Day comes around each year! It is such a lovely holiday to celebrate our true loves. My favorite parts of the day are the roses, dinners out, and just being able to spend the day with Andrew. We have spent seven Valentine’s Days together now and this year is our first as newlyweds! With Valentine’s being right around the corner, I wanted to put an outfit together playing with different fabrics and patterns.
I put on this adorable black & white polka dot blouse (purchased from Shein) with frilled trim around the collar and sleeves. I love a dainty blouse for special occasions.
I paired it with a black, faux leather skirt with a strap belt that creates the most flattering, cinched waist. I love a classy black and white outfit. Unfortunately, this leather skirt from F21 is out of stock, but I added similar ones down below. I like to add a pop of color with an outfit like this. If I wanted to incorporate the color red, I would do so with a statement piece such as a purse and/or a lipstick or nail polish.
Of course, regular black tights would look perfect with this look, but I just had on my knee length ones.
If skirts aren’t your thing, you could wear leather pants that have been very popular for fall and winter fashion! I have found so many pairs that I love in black, camel, and beige! Or you could always resort to the traditional black jean!
