our wedding day

our wedding day

I said it once before and I will continue saying it over and over again- our wedding was nothing short of a  fairytale. From start to finish I was pure bliss. The magic of the day was in the air.

Because it was late April, all the trees were lush with fresh green leaves and blossoms were everywhere. Flower petals began blowing off the trees and flowing in the wind. The deep green ivy grew beautifully around brick walls of the tower where the ceremony was to be held. The weather was perfect, causing the atmosphere to be even more surreal.

Nothing could have screamed dreamy, magical, real-life fairytale, romantic, garden, & classical more than our venue.

Our venue is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Delaware. This dark wooden & brick estate reminded me of all things enchanted. The glow from the candle sticks warmed up the dark brick, bringing this place to life. Read more about it [here].

Our photographer worked so well with everyone and made sure she got all the detail shots I asked for (since that is what I am all about!). Doing a photo shoot with her, before the wedding, for bridal shots was a great time to get to know each other since phone calls and facetime can only go so far (she came from Texas). I enjoyed that time with her so much and was thrilled to have her be a part of our wedding day.

For the most part, all of the wedding photos will be in chronological order. Not all the photos are shown because they either have their own blog post or because I do not feel the need to share every photo with the internet. Plus this post would be 50 pages long if I added all 900+ photos, haha!

Thank you to everyone involved in our wedding and who were apart of it. It is a day we will never forget… We are so appreciative of all the loving people Andrew and I have in our lives ♥

Please leave any comments or questions below this post! I am always open to that  & would love to connect with anyone having wedding planning dilemmas ♡

P.S. at the bottom of this post I added my processional song from the ceremony. I think it is so mysterious and beautiful. It will not play on a phone, so in order to listen, hit the play button at the bottom of this post. You can also pause it if you’d like!

Our first dance was to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley sung live by Abbie & Sage

My sister’s trio dance that they choreographed all by themselves. You can watch it [here] on my youtube. They danced to “All of Me” by John Legend with a violinist. It was such a unique concept to have performed at our wedding ceremony & extremely special to me ♥
